Overture
Welcome to my weblog that unfolds my artworks, travels, and research on cultural geography, particularly my PhD research re art in urban public space.
I have always been fascinated and passionate about inquiring interrelationships between human beings and the spaces and intermedia – particularly art – they are engaged in. Hence probing into and transpiring the dialectics between the somatic and mental spaces of human life and society amaze and intrigue me. Herein one might locate people’s feelings of spatiality which reposes in the ‘embodied embeddedness’ of their minds collocating with both structure and agency. See, for instance, the spatial politics of public art wherein one walks a tightrope between giving as well as taking power and control. What a gracefully paradoxical treasure-house it is!
I like to research and make art, which take my body to set up and my mind to set off so as to ideologically endeavour to make progress – perchance without change – in the embodied practices of life. I now sign off by airing my perpetual transit of being hitherto. That said, although I am virtually present in my physical absence here, please leave words when I am unrelentingly saving them in my work’s elucidating niche.
